Newton, MA – September 25, 2024 – The Price Center, a model service agency empowering and caring for individuals with special gifts, needs, and abilities, is welcoming Abby Parrilla as its new Chief Executive Officer. Abby Parrilla arrives with a mandate to lead the growth of The Price Center’s programming and service levels to meet the Greater Boston and Metro West communities’ growing needs while maintaining its “small community/family” appeal. In previous leadership roles, she has developed a strong culture of excellence and appreciation. Moreover, programs under her guidance have improved quality assurance, demonstrated rigorous policy development, and shown continuous improvement. Centering these accomplishments, Parrilla brings to The Price Center her tremendous enthusiasm and energy, along with a passion for advocacy and human rights.
“Following the thorough review of The Price Center’s need to innovate and grow while protecting its strong commitment to its unique family culture and quality, we identified Abby Parrilla as a leader capable of leading our efforts,” said Mary Flynn, Chair of The Price Center’s board of directors. “We thank our incredible interim CEO, Electa Sevier for her outstanding leadership and expertise during our search and are excited to welcome Abby into The Price Center family.”
